So guys I have successfully jailbroken a ipad on ios 4.3 this week and a new iphone 4 on iOS 4.2.1, BB 03.10.01, and they are both running nice and smooth no crashing but there are, at the moment some problems or limitations with each jailbreak,
The iphone 4, I used green pois0n, redsn0w, limer1an and sn0wbreeze on different occasions all Cydia and installuos apps tweaks and settings are working perfectly the only problem is that you cannot unlock basebands 03.11.01 and 2.10.04 yet so I am suck with Vodafone until they update this unlock for the iphone 4, basically if you have this baseband (find out in settings/general/about) then you cannot use any other network yet, I am told they will update the jailbreak shortly after the release of iOS 4.3 so it should be soon as that ops has been out for a few weeks now!
The ipad, if you jailbreak on ipad on 4.2.1 everything works fine, if you jailbreak the ipad on 4.3 because it is such a new os there are quite a few Cydia tweaks and gadgets that don't work yet such as mobile subtract and winterboard, so if you have missed being able to upgrade to 4.2 then best waiting un till a better jailbreak for 4.3 comes out, again same as above from what I have been reading all over the net is that it won’t be long. I have an ipad on 3.2.2 also and I have been trying to update that to 4.2.1 rather than 4.3 but apple will not let me do that, even though I have downloaded the ispw file for 4.2.1 and tried a restore apple do not verify the restore as they want you to go to 4.3!!! Buggers, I guess I’ll just have to wait!

Some good news for iPhone 4 users who are waiting for an unlock on iOS 4.2.1, baseband 3.10.01 and 2.10.04. The Egyptian based and Neurosurgeon & iPhone Baseband hacker Sherif Hashim has replied to a user on Twitter, confirming of sorts that the unlock for iPhone 4 on the latest firmware and baseband isn’t too far off from release.

Last month, The iPhone Dev-Team released an Ultrasn0w update which enabled iPhone 3G and 3GS users to unlock their devices on iOS 4.2.1 by permanently (for now) upgrading it to iPad’s baseband 06.15.00. Rumor has it that there is soon going to be a way for iPhone 3G and 3GS users to downgrade the baseband back to the original 05.15.04 which ships with iOS 4.2.1 for these older devices.
I will have more on it as soon as I get more information on this. Stay tuned for that!
